Blacksmith Experience Day at Anvil Forge

The Original 'Day in the life of a Blacksmith' course at Anvil Forge

Working alongside our expert instructors, spend the day making a metal-worked item of your choice. From wicked swords to garden sculptures you come with the idea and bring it to life in our forge!

We start off with a brief health and safety chat to ensure we are all as safe and sound at the end of the day as we were when we started.

Everything you make on the day is yours to take away. Everyone makes a fire poker as a warm-up project and we then proceed to make a project which can be an idea you have or an item we guide you on, which can be discussed with us in advance.

All courses include materials. PPE will be provided but please wear sturdy shoes/boots and old clothes. No Fleeces or Sandals please.

Tea and coffee are available at all times but we ask you bring a packed lunch.

Class sizes are generally 4-6 with maximum of 8 attending with 2,3 or 4 tutors depending on class sizes.

Duration: 1 day 9.30am - 4.00pm/4.30pm

Class cost is £260.00 per person or 270.00 for weekends
